Automation statuses and Activity
Understand Draft, Active, Paused, and Deleted — and where to review runs.

- Draft — not running. Edit freely until you activate.
- Active — running for matching events on supported channels.
- Paused — saved but not running.
- Deleted — removed from the active list and not running.
Restore
Restoring a deleted automation returns it to the list without going live automatically. It remains paused until you activate it again.
Schedule and timezone
If an automation uses a schedule, Chatly HQ respects the saved timezone. Outside the window, runs may be skipped even when the automation is Active.
Channel capabilities
Not every channel supports flow automation. Messenger and Instagram support flows when connected. WhatsApp and Telegram focus on keyword-oriented paths. TikTok messaging automation is not available. Always confirm the channel page before activating a flow.
Activity
Use the Activity tab to inspect completed, failed, skipped, retrying, and running executions. A failure does not always mean the channel is disconnected — read the status message first.
