What you can do

Messenger supports inbox messaging, flow automation, keyword replies, and rich message types such as text, images, video, audio, buttons, and quick replies when your connection is healthy.

Before you connect

• Have a Facebook Page you can manage.
• Connect through the official OAuth flow in Chatly HQ.
• Approve only the permissions requested in the provider window.

Steps

• Open Channels → Messenger.
• Start connect and complete provider sign-in.
• Choose the Page and confirm it appears as connected.
• Use health checks on the channel page to verify status.

Validate sending setup

Validate sending setup checks configuration only. It does not send a live customer message. Messaging policies from the provider may still limit when messages can be delivered.

When to reconnect

Reconnect if permissions change, the connection expires, or status shows Needs reconnect or a permission issue. Do not share Page passwords or tokens with anyone.
