Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ChatlyHQ collects, why we collect it, how we store and share it, and the choices you have. It is about privacy and data protection—not about product rules or billing. For those topics, see our Terms of Use.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of our websites, workspace owners and staff who sign in with Facebook Login, and agency clients invited into a workspace. Messaging end users (people who chat with a Facebook Page) interact primarily with the Page owner; we process their Messenger data only as needed to run the features the Page owner enables.
2. Categories of data we collect
- Account identifiers: name and Facebook user id linked to your ChatlyHQ account after Facebook Login.
- Page connection data: Page id, name, and Page access tokens required to call Meta APIs you authorize.
- Messaging operational data: subscriber ids (PSIDs), conversation metadata, message content you send or receive through enabled features, and delivery-related events from webhooks.
- Product configuration: automations, keywords, broadcasts, tags, and workspace membership you create.
- Billing-related fields: plan, usage counters, and payment contact details you provide (for example PayPal email).
- Technical logs: IP address, browser/user-agent, and security cookies used for sessions and OAuth.
3. Why we process data
We process data only to:
- Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
- Connect Pages and provide automation, inbox sync, broadcasts, and analytics.
- Let agencies invite and manage client workspaces.
- Generate invoices, track plan limits, and answer support requests.
- Detect abuse, debug outages, and meet legal or Meta Platform obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Messenger content to build advertising profiles for people who message your Pages.
4. Meta / Facebook data handling
Page and Messenger data is obtained through Meta's Graph API and webhooks under permissions you grant in Facebook Login. You decide which Pages to connect and can disconnect them at any time. Meta remains a separate controller for data on its platforms; this policy covers how ChatlyHQ processes data after it reaches our systems.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with:
- Hosting and database providers that store and run ChatlyHQ infrastructure.
- Payment processors when you complete a paid plan transaction.
- Meta, solely to send or receive messages and use APIs you authorized.
- Advisors or authorities when required by valid legal process.
We do not share workspace data with other customers.
6. Retention, security, and cookies
We keep account and messaging data while your workspace is active, plus limited backup and audit copies needed for security, billing disputes, and legal retention. When you request deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data except where retention is required by law.
We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and least-privilege access for staff and systems. No online service is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents to ads@jnzbridge.ca.
Cookies and similar storage are used for login sessions, CSRF/OAuth protection, and basic preference settings—not for third-party ad retargeting on our marketing site. See the Cookies Policy for details.
7. Your privacy choices
- Disconnect Facebook Pages from ChatlyHQ.
- Ask an agency owner to remove your invite or sub-account access.
- Request export or deletion of your account data by emailing ads@jnzbridge.ca.
- Revoke ChatlyHQ's Facebook app access from your Facebook settings.
End users who message a Page should contact that Page's business for content requests; Meta also provides in-product privacy controls for Messenger.
8. Children
ChatlyHQ is built for business Page operators and agencies. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect account data from children.
